It is designed by highly collected American artist Kermit Oliver who, in addition to Kachinas, designed some of the most sought-after scarves such as the Faune et Flore du Texas in 1986, Les Cheyennes in 1993, and Mythologies des Hommes Rouges in 1994, to name a few. As the name implies, the motif depicts a tribe of Kachinas who are dancing across this beautiful and colorful pattern.
