Vintage Hermès La Comedie Italienne 90 x 90 silk scarf, in excellent pre-loved condition. It is one of the most sought-after scarves, designed by Philippe Ledoux. A very rare piece, it is considered as a holy grail by many Hermès collecctors. It was first issued in 1962, and re-issued in 1993. The details of the scarf are very rich, but at the same time very feminine and delicate, depicting scenes from Commedia dell'arte, a type of comedy developed in 16th and 17th century in Italy.
