Vintage Azzedine Alaïa large corset belt, in excellent pre-loved condition. Designed in the shape of an hourglass, it is made of laser-cut black leather, and is to this day one of Alaïa’s most famous pieces. It dates to the ready-to-wear Spring Summer 1992 collection. The openwork motifs recall the shards of moucharabiehs. By evoking 19th century corsets, the couturier celebrated the feminine waist by playing with leather, one of his favorite fabrics, which he opens as if with lace. Dimensions: 27 x 75 cm.
